Dadliscene was launched two years ago in June 2006 after being a few months in the making. At that time the original site contained but a forum and picture gallery. According to owner of the site, Wayne Mariette, the motivation for launching the entertainment website came really because of: “a lack of innovation, variety and staying power of entertainment websites in Antigua and Barbuda.”

Dadliscene has certainly graduated from fledging Web site status hosting but a forum and picture gallery to a site hosting various sections (forum, blog, gallery, jukebox (in the making) and video).

Dadliscene, with its hardworking crew remains dedicated to the promotion of local culture not just to the local but the international audience as well. Mariette is not bashful- he declares that Dadliscene would like to become the Web site which Antiguans and Barbudans rush to whenever they want to get their entertainment news, views and information.
