Dadliscene has learned of the Miss Antigua and Barbuda Canada Pageant held on 20th September 2008, in collaboration with ABAT (Antigua and Barbuda Association of Toronto), and was given the chance the highlight the contestants along with a some more info relating to the pageant as the information is fed to us.
The contestants represented parishes in Antigua with one representing Barbuda.
Here is a line up of the contestants, parish represented and end result:

3. SAMANTHA EDWARDS MISS ST. JOHNS 2nd RUNNER UP

5. SHANTEL JOSEPH MISS ST. GEORGE
What's also interesting were the prizes awarded to the Queen, 1st and 2nd runners up.
The Queen, Miss Anique Peters, received a scholarship from Canada Globe productions to study music where she could also receive a teaching certificate or a recording contract. She will also be performing on shows held by Canada Globe productions and she has future plans to participate in the 2009 Jamaal Magloire - Queen of the Islands held in Canada.
1st and 2nd runners up; Tawana Lapps & Samantha Edwards respectively, each received a $2000 scholarship compliments Canada Globe productions.
