{dropcap}D{/dropcap}adliscene.com was fortunate to be part of the welcoming crew to greet Antigua's own, Charmain Bailey on arrival today at the VC Bird International Airport.

The last time she was here on island was two years ago and has stated that she is impressed with the development in the entertainment industry here.

Besides coming to perform at the Star Antigua Talent Event, she plans to interact with various performers, giving advice, visit her friends and family as well as the different hotels around Antigua.

Professionally, she is a performer, sings genres such as Jazz, Blues and loves the 70's music, so don't as her to do Rhianna or Beyonce'

"Personality come first in doing what you do" she said as some of the advice she announced to other performers and young people in Antigua. "You have to be yourself", "Love and kindness is what matters and being able to help people" were also more of the words of guidance and wisdom uttered to the youths as these are some of the things that got her to where she is now. Also not to forget that continuous training at what it is you want to pursue, training, is very essential as she herself, currently endures training to be even better at what she does, keeping in mind that the world is filled with competition.

Towards the end of the presentation, she gave us a verbal appetizer into one of her songs, "Evergreen" and i must say, she left us wanting more....
