Sparkey and his management team continues to make strides in the development of his career. After a promotional trip to the USA & Canada in July to promote his first single "SWING" from his 2009 album R.A.W, the single has received great reviews. Sparkey performed to a receptive crowd at the Calypso Show of the Century - Legends in Concert in New York, where he received kudos for his performance from the Calypso King of the World none other than theMighty Sparrow for an impressive performance. From as far away as Japan and Italy DJ's are congratulating him on "SWING", he will be following up "SWING" with "Caribbean Vibes" on the Caribbean Unity Riddim out England. His song Sexy Lady is receiving airplay on several commercial stations in the USA. "Crazy" featuring Claudette Peters along with Caught Up, have been chart toppers on many International Stations. In August, Sparkey's management was contacted by W.O.A. International about signing him to a 3 year management deal for India. A deal was struck and he will be touring India in 2009 with other artist signed to W.O.A. According to the A&R department, India is ready for his voice. A major record label is also interested, they have made suggestions of what they would like to see. We are in the market now seeking sponsors to implement more promotional and marketing ideas, a PR firm will be coming on board in November. He is currently one of the most visible Caribbean artists on the net, which to date has brought him great recognition outside of the Caribbean. Sparkey is set to perform 3 shows in New York in October and heads to Florida to take part in their carnival. Plans are also in the works for him to return to Japan in 2009.
