Creating Albums and Adding Pictures
As many have wondered or stated/suggested, Creating your own picture albums for event you went to on dadliscene.com is rather simple.

First you have to login to the site with your account info (username & password) then click on gallery2 in the main menu or click here.

Once there, you first need to select which category you would like to create your new album in. ( remember this is only for event pics, not personal pics). So if you wish to create an album in lets say, Parties, Clubs, Bashments, then click on it.

Then look to the left for Album Actions. Hit the down arrow and you will see, Add Album. Enter the name, title, summary and description of your event album. Scroll to the bottom and hit create.

This step completes adding an event album to the event picture gallery.


So it continues, now that you have created your event album, you want to add some pictures right.

So then next step is even more simple. Again, having already been logged in and in Gallery2, you then locate your album or if already within your newly create album, then look to the left again for Album Action, click the dropdown arrow and select the option, Add Items.

Within that page, you can choose three out of the five options provided. Those are:

* From Web Browser
* Gallery Remote
* Upload Applet

From Web Browser: This is the first and simple method in adding pictures to the gallery. As you should see, it allows for single file upload to your album.

Gallery Remote This option allows you download a software onto your pc which is ideal for large file uploads as well as multiple files

Upload Applet This option is just like Gallery Remote but its actually embeded into the site and allows for upload of large files and also unlimited quantities. You can Drag and Drop your pitcures into the left pane on the application or click on Add Pictures which allows you to browse your pc for files. However, Drag and Drop works better as it allows bulk upload.

After adding pictures, click on upload, Do not click on Resize, the site does that automatically.
